Peterbilt Now offering its new infotainment system. Apple CarPlayThe new infotainment system will be offered as an option on all conventional Peterbilt models, and will be available starting this month.
The new infotainment system features an intuitive user interface, and provides drivers with enhanced connectivity, navigation and entertainment options.
Features include wireless and wired support for Apple CarPlay, allowing drivers to get directions, make calls, send and receive messages, interact with supported apps and more from the infotainment system.
The system offers AM/FM/Weather/SXM support and four high-definition analog cameras with split-screen viewing capability; built-in truck-specific navigation system including Peterbilt service locations and Bakarincluding three years of free map updates; multi-language support, including English, Spanish, and French; Wi-Fi support for Android devices; and an updated operating system.
