Returning to the world after more than 6 months of absence, Pierre-Louis Loubet had prepared well for this special event. During the Abu Bureira Rally a few days ago in Portugal, the Corsican and his new co-driver Loris Pasco were able to work on their consistency. The early stages of WRC-2 showed that their cooperation is going very well indeed.
In second place at the end of the Thursday evening super special, PLL had the misfortune of receiving a very unfair fixed time slot in SS2 which they were unable to compete in due to a timer outage. After 18 inches without driving, he went on the attack again and his two best times (SS3-SS6) showed that he is really comfortable behind the wheel of the Skoda Fabia RS Rally2. The 27-year-old was just 5'7 away from the podium when he made a mistake in SS7.
