In a multiple of five matches, Portugal won the 10th match to reach the European Championship in Germany (14 June – 14 July) while Javi is expected to be out for several months.
Tops
Portugal achieved 10/10
The goal that Roberto Martinez presented to his players was achieved: Portugal achieved its tenth victory in Group Ten and achieved a perfect campaign, the first in its history. Iceland dominated from start to finish, and received two goals from Bruno Fernandes (37) and Horta (66) to lose (2-0). The Manchester United attacking midfielder has been outstanding, as has Joao Felix. But note that Cristiano Ronaldo remained silent, and even expressed his frustration to his teammates at the end of the match.

Scotland and Norway made a bid
Scotland had already qualified and wanted to celebrate their second consecutive qualification for the Euros. Despite drawing with Norway, without an injured Erling Haaland, the Tartan Army were able to count on widespread support from their fans who came to thank their players at Hampden Park in Glasgow. McGinn (13, S), Østegaard (33, CSC) and Armstrong (59) responded to Dunham (3rd), Larsen (20) and Elyounoussi (86), but were unable to secure a win for the first time in five meetings. It didn't matter, the main thing was somewhere else on Sunday evening.

Javi is seriously injured
Spain have almost certainly secured their place at the top of Group A and will be seeded during the European Championship, even if the draw between Scotland and Norway (3-3) would have qualified La Roja anyway. But the Spaniards may have been missing Javi, a young 19-year-old midfielder, for several months. In the twenty-second minute, after contact with Georgian Lushovili, the Barcelona player collapsed on the ground holding his right knee. The Catalan media are already fearing the worst, while the Macia nugget seems to be sticking its tongue out for some time…

Zero points for Liechtenstein
Liechtenstein ended its disastrous campaign by suffering its tenth defeat against Luxembourg (0-1) with a header from Rodriguez (69). The German-speaking principality admitted its twenty-third consecutive defeat. What's worse is that the 199th-placed country in the FIFA rankings has been unable to find a place in 22 consecutive matches. However, Konrad Funfstock's men played 85 minutes with numerical superiority.
