QNAP launches a new line of JBOD storage enclosures for PCIe interface that support SATA drives to achieve petabyte-level storage. The all-new TL-Rx00PES-RP line of PCIe JBODs uses 12- to 24-slot SATA drives.

This range is ideal for companies that want to archive/replicate virtualization applications, monitoring logs, big data and multimedia content, especially on Linux.
Three configurations It is provided by QNAP :
- 1. TL-R2400PES-RP (coming soon): 24 drive bays; 4U rack-mounted model
- 2. TL-R1600PES-RP: 16 drive slots; 3U rack-mounted model
- 3. TL-R1200PES-RP: 12 drive bays; 2U rack-mounted model
Users can expand existing NAS volumes to the petabyte level by Connect multiple bands of TL-Rx00PES-RP, Without having to rebuild the RAID on the NAS host. The TL-Rx00PES-RP series supports SATA drives, opening up a wide range of hard drives.
