On Sunday afternoon, Frenchman Sébastien Ogier, driving his Toyota, officially won the WRC Rally in Portugal.

Sébastien Ogier is no longer stopping. This Sunday, the Frenchman won the WRC Rally of Portugal with his Toyota, three weeks after winning Rally Croatia. It was his 60th career win in the same category, and his sixth in the same rally. No other driver in history has been able to prove himself like him in Portugal. Moreover, before him, only his compatriot Sébastien Loeb had reached the same milestone of 60 WRC victories, knowing that Loeb’s total is 80. Throughout this weekend, Ogier, the eight-time WRC champion who led the overall standings on Saturday after his Finnish teammate Kalle Rovanperä was eliminated, dominated his rivals.

Fourmaux takes fourth place in Portugal

Estonian Ott Tanak, second in the final general classification, failed to drive his Hyundai, despite everything, less than eight seconds away from victory. Third place went to Belgian Thierry Neuville, also based in the Hyundai team, who seized the opportunity to do a very good job in the general classification.
