Hogwarts Legacy is expected to arrive on the Nintendo Switch in late 2022 if all goes according to plan, but there are still a lot of details we don’t know yet.
A few more things came out thanks to the efforts of a user named BattleDashBR on Reddit. While searching the game’s official website, the user was able to discover the following image, which appears to display some information regarding the multiple planned versions of the game and the DLC content. According to the found image (see below), Hogwarts Legacy will be released in Collector’s Edition and Deluxe Edition, each providing access to unique content. Both will grant access to the following beauty items, which will likely be available as paid additional content to Standard Edition owners:
- Mount Thestral
- Dark Arts Cosmetic Packaging
- Dark Arts Battlefield
- Dark Arts Garrison Hat
- Kilby dress
In addition to these in-game items, anyone who purchases the Deluxe Edition or Collector’s Edition will be able to access the game 72 hours earlier than anyone else. In terms of material rewards, the Collector’s Edition will include a hard book, a replica, and a book. While this information is subject to change and has not been officially confirmed by the publisher, it was found on their official website and thus appears to be legal. We hope to have a confirmation soon, as well as an official release date.
