Rush Farms Portugal was born out of strengthening relationships with Portuguese producers and the desire to remain relevant to production.
In Portugal, the operation began with the cultivation of sweet potatoes and has now expanded the product range to include pumpkins (walnuts, muscat, Hokkaido), cabbage and small watermelons.
Since, in recent years, climate change has had a negative impact on the availability of horticultural products, Rush Farms Portugal has diversified into several different geographies, which has allowed it to supply major products all over the world. All year round, even during droughts or bad weather conditions.
Organic production grows in fields of walnuts, sweet potatoes and cabbage. They claim that their production was able to meet the needs of customers when the situation in neighboring countries prevented their exports. Packaging capacity allows it to meet the demands of its customers, whether they are supermarkets, industries or wholesalers, both in the UK and Central and Northern Europe. The company has specialized and modern facilities that allow it to pack 300 tons of each product per week (cabbage, pumpkin and sweet potato). This enabled him to fulfill his obligations on time.
