Samsung Hospitality TVs offer simple and secure streaming from iPhone and iPad.
Samsung has announced that its hospitality TVs are now AirPlay compatible, allowing guests to securely connect their iOS and iPadOS devices to their hotel room display.
They will be able to watch their favorite movies and shows from the most popular streaming services, listen to their playlists from various music platforms, view photos, work on their presentations, play games, and much more. By scanning the QR code displayed on the screen, customers can privately connect their iPhone or iPad to Samsung Hospitality TVs.[1]
To ensure convenience and security, no personal data is saved and any information related to connected devices is automatically erased when a customer leaves the establishment. This feature not only improves the customer experience but also ensures data confidentiality. Additionally, hoteliers can easily update their management systems to enable AirPlay and enjoy a streamlined onboarding process.
AirPlay integration is part of Samsung’s strategy to enhance the customer experience for travelers while providing powerful management tools for hoteliers. Samsung’s latest hospitality TVs also feature LYNK Cloud and SmartThings Pro, which deliver enhanced connectivity, simplified management, and an unparalleled customer experience.
“Samsung is committed to building a robust and connected ecosystem that enhances comfort, convenience and the overall customer experience,” said Hoon Chung, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “AirPlay makes it easy for iPhone and iPad users to share their favorite content to their hotel room screen so they feel right at home. LYNK Cloud and SmartThings Pro also enable hotel management to collect valuable information, making their operations more agile and efficient.”
Designed for hotel managers and operators, LYNK Cloud is an integrated hotel management solution that allows you to remotely manage your Samsung TV fleet, create and publish content, and access streaming entertainment remotely. Featuring a connected commerce platform, LYNK Cloud provides an interactive ordering system that includes hotel service reservations, in-room ordering, digital concierge, and more. With LYNK Cloud, hoteliers can also use the information collected to personalize the guest experience and create impactful promotional content in rooms and at their properties around the world.
Smart things forefront Improves connectivity by providing more interoperability and security with connected devices. Managers can now control Samsung devices[2] – TV receivers, smart signage, air conditioning and other IoT devices[3] – Throughout the hotel from the dashboard. Making it easy to manage different units and track device performance, it is designed to integrate easily with a customizable application programming interface (API).
