Samsung has just introduced its new foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6. Both devices are more powerful, more durable, and benefit from a better cooling system.
On this day, Wednesday, July 10 SamsungSamsung Galaxy held its Unpacked event, where the manufacturer introduced its latest devices, especially the sixth generation of its foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold. Both devices benefit from some new features, including the latest developments in artificial intelligence based on Galaxy AI GoogleGoogle Twin. It also integrates the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and offers better resistanceresistanceAnd move to IP48 certification instead of IPX8.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 Flip smartphone differs slightly in appearance from its predecessor, with the same main display (6.7 inches, 1080 x 2640 pixels, 120 ppi) HertzHertz Adaptive) and external (3.4 inches, 720 x 748, 60 Hz). However, in addition to the new processor, it increases to 12 GB ramram (compared to 8GB for the Flip 5), with 256 or 512GB of storage. The main lens increases to 50MP (compared to 12MP for the Flip 5), and is still accompanied by a 12MP ultrawide lens and a SensorSensor 10MP selfie camera.
For the first time, the Flip smartphone is equipped with a vapor chamber, which is supposed to solve the overheating problems that the Flip 5 suffered from and which forced it to limit its processor. Finally, it has a slightly larger battery of 4,000 mAh (compared to 3,700 mAh in the Flip 5).

As for the Galaxy Z Fold 6, it’s a bit wider, with a new 7.6-inch main display (1,856 x 2,160 pixels) and a 6.3-inch external display (968 x 2,376 pixels). The hinge has been revised and there’s less crease when the display is open. The cooling system has been significantly improved, with a 1.6x larger vapor chamber. But there’s no difference in terms of camera, memory or battery.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is available for pre-order starting at €1,199 while the Galaxy Z Fold 6 starts at €1,999. Both will be available starting July 17.
