The program will run for three weeks, from October 4 to 22. After dinosaurs, robots, the moon, or biodiversity, the city chose to develop the “fragments of light” theme. An exhibition in the youth area of ​​the François Mitterrand Media Library develops “First Steps to Cinema in Light”. It was loaned by the New Aquitaine Book, Film and Audiovisual Agency and decorated with items loaned to the Atlantic Seine.

Two conferences will be held at the Salle des Jacobins on Thursday 6 and 13 October at 6:30 p.m. The first is with Jack Teillard, an expert in neuroscience, who will explain how light can be “a friend and an enemy of our sleep and health.” The second is with entomologist Vincent Alboy, who will solve the mystery of light pollution’s annoyances at night. At the same place, Saturday 22 October from 2 pm to 6 pm, we can test the laser ukulele that Jean-Michel Jarre is famous for.
