On 9 and 11 May 2023, Culturebox will broadcast, on France 4, live from Liverpool the semi-finals of the 67th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest.
Representatives of the Big Five (France, Germany, Spain, Italy and the United Kingdom), as well as Ukraine, last year’s winner, will claim their title during these semi-finals.
First semi-final
Tuesday 9 May at 9.00 pm on Culturebox – France 4commented by Angon And Andrey Manukyan – Live broadcast from Liverpool Arena.
During the first semi-final, 15 countries will compete to win a ticket to the Eurovision Grand Final: Norway, Malta, Serbia, Latvia, Portugal, Ireland, Croatia, Switzerland, Israel, Moldova, Sweden, Azerbaijan, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Finland.
At the end of the shows, ten countries will be qualified thanks to the public vote.
French viewers will be able to vote during this broadcast.
Second semi-final
Thursday 11th May at 9.00pm on Culturebox – France 4commented by Angon And Andrey Manukyan – Live broadcast from Liverpool Arena.
Sixteen countries will compete in this second qualifying round: Denmark, Armenia, Romania, Estonia, Belgium, Cyprus, Iceland, Greece, Poland, Slovenia, Georgia, San Marino, Austria, Albania, Lithuania and Australia.
Among them, ten countries will join the final, another ten qualified at the end of the first semi-final, in addition to the Big Five (France, Germany, Spain, Italy and the United Kingdom) and Ukraine, last year’s winner in Turin.
