Milan is still the master of the Derby della Madonnina. The Italian champion, who was more consistent throughout the match, logically won the duel Inter (3-2) on Saturday. Even if the Rossoneri suffered from Marcelo Brozovic’s opening goal, the enthusiasm of Rafael Liao (doubled) and Olivier Giroud allowed them to win. The ball exploded from the middle with a goal from Edin Dzeko and did not change anything. Mike Minnian was decisive in the last minutes.

Inter bypass Milan before the derby, Dybala sends Roma forward

Three-quarters of an hour of insanity was enough to delight Tifosi Milan. Between the 30th and 75th minutes, Stefano Pioli’s players continued to corner Samir Handanovic’s cage to build their success, putting them almost in front. But the deal was complicated after the opening match from Marcelo Brozovic, aided by the good work of Lautaro Martinez (21). But instead of breaking up in a tense match, the Rossoneri immediately corrected Rafael Leao’s shot with a left-footed shot on Sandro Tonali (28th place).

The former Liloes, the first Portuguese scorer in the Derby, did not stop stirring up the in-between defence. His dribbling has been annoying at times and his thrilling game, inevitably, leads to a bit of a waste. But Liao shone mainly to the left of Milan’s attack. His agreement with Olivier Giroud made the opposing rearguard dizzy. The Frenchman improved one of the Lusitnian’s infinite regression positions, with a fairly smooth but perfectly placed shot (53rd place). In the process, he put Jiro Liao’s hidden bathroom wing on the way to Milan’s third goal (60), not without playing with Alessandro Bastoni and Stefan de Vrij, who is very passive.
When their offensive assets weren’t shining, Milan relied on the great Mike Minnan. International goalkeeper Lautaro Martinez and Hakan Chalhanoglu frustrated two real scoring chances. Present when necessary, the Frenchman was not in great demand either. Blame it on an orphan interist attack by Romelu Lukaku and a long amorphous. The end of the match was definitely better, with a goal from the next Dzeko (66), present for a cross cut by Denzel Dumfries. But the overall performance lacked the continuity to hope for anything other than a setback. Above all, the Nerazzurri’s defensive fever has reason to worry their coach, four days before Bayern welcomes them in the Champions League. He’s already been defeated twice this year, and he has a lot of work to do.
