Silvia Perez Cruz was born and raised in Palafrugell on the Costa Brava. His mother, Gloria Cruz, is a singer and his father, Castor Perez-Dez, is a guitarist and habanera specialist. The girl studies piano and saxophone. At the age of 18, she entered the Higher School of Music of Catalonia, in Barcelona, where she majored in vocals. Since then, his voice has continued to move, annoy, and shake the world. Doubling down on collaborations with several artists, and associating herself with all genres (jazz, bolero, flamenco, fado), Silvia Pérez Cruz always seems to be in her place. His luminous vocals (in Catalan, Portuguese, Spanish or Galician) and his captivating acting charm as they unfold. As in the original music of the movie “Josep” the Catalan won an award in 2021. However, it is impossible to stick a label on it. Today, she surrounds herself with the FARSA Circus Band, a group of talented musicians of the latest generation, to transcend her art with others (photography, theatre, film, dance and painting) and reveal the fragility and opposing forces from within. As usual, magic happens.
