On paper, Portugal are the favourites. But their last match against Georgia, in Group F, left a bitter taste for the Seleção fans. In fact, the 2-0 loss to the bottom of the group was a somewhat unexpected scenario. However, Cristiano Ronaldo's teammates still occupy first place in Group F thanks to two impressive wins over the Czech Republic (2-1) and Turkey (3-0).
They face Slovenia. The latter have a tougher journey, having not won a single game since the start of the competition. Three draws against Group C teams, England, Serbia and Denmark.
