The fundamental desire of leaders is to restore history. “These last few years are no longer consistent with the past,” explains Antonio de Souza, one of the club’s historical members. We wanted to stop cutting the bad roots and replant new seeds. »
The Portuguese from Colmar are today led by Antonio Tomás. “We want to reconnect with the friendly atmosphere of the Portuguese community, with everyone who wants to join the project. »
To relaunch the club, you need strong forces willing to unite around it. “It is a reboot and now we have a veteran team and an established team. It is time to relaunch ourselves, and we will create youth teams because they represent the future.”
“Back to Life”
To achieve this, the Portuguese in Colmar rely on symbolic leaders, such as Michel da Mota, Antonio Lopez, Jorge, Sonia da Silva and all the goodwill ready to embark on the human and sporting adventure. “It’s a return to life for the Portuguese,” says Antonio de Souza.
After a two-year hiatus, the club returns to the green rectangles of Zone 5, in the legendary Ladhof Stadium. In the past, he had an experience of excellence, which was equivalent to the current R2. After their first success in the tournament against Beşvehir (3-1), the Portuguese from Colmar are ready to write new pages in their rich history.
