Guedes (27 years old) returns to the Spanish championship after a period he spent in Valencia between 2017 and 2022. Then he played 178 matches and scored 36 goals. The right-hander, who can play in all attacking positions, was then transferred to Wolves but failed to establish himself in England.
He was loaned to Benfica in January 2023. During the last summer transfer period, the Lisbon club announced the extension of the loan for the entire season, but Guedes played only 116 minutes in the league and Wolverhampton summoned his player to loan him to Spain.
The striker, who also spent time with Paris Saint-Germain at the beginning of his career (2017-2018), played in the 2018 World Cup and won the first edition of the UEFA Nations League (in 2019) with Portugal.
