Sporting Lisbon: Angolan Njet signs his first professional contract at the age of 16

True to its reputation as a coaching club, Sporting Club de Portugal continues to attract young African talent. The Portuguese club has just launched the professional career of a young 16-year-old Angolan winger. Manuel Kisanga signed his professional contract with Lions Lisbon on Monday 20 June 2022.

Manuel Kisanga, the 16-year-old winger, recently won the Portugal National Junior Championships with Sporting Lisbon. This first professional contract is a tribute to a promising talent who is now dreaming big with Green and White Club. “It is an honor to be here. I have already been through a lot with this shirt and I want to continue living, so I will continue to give my everything so that the club also continues to grow.”

For four years in the colors of Sporting Lisbon, Kisanga is very convinced of his goals: “I will do everything to one day reach the main team. I know that if I work hard, I can do it. After reaching the under-17 team at the end of this season, my goal for this year is is to keep improving and moving up the ranks,” this very ambitious little team hinted. When he signed, he made no secret of his admiration for Pedro Gonçalves, one of the club’s main players. “He’s a very fast player and he has a very powerful shot,” he said.
