Successful show day

On Thursday, June 6, under the leadership of the Professional Regional Health Community (CPTS) of the Haute-Marne Centre, a Skin Cancer Prevention and Awareness Day was organized, in the parking lot of the Felix-Grillo nursing home. This action was made possible thanks to the initiative of Patricia Konarski, Vice-President of the CPTS and Director of Félix-Grélot, and President of Breuvannes-en-Bassiny, Dr. Claire Renaud. This examination was fully funded by CPTS. Previously, appointments were made by 60 people who were able to benefit from this free diagnosis. The day was part of the Targeted Screening for Skin Cancer Prevention and Awareness Week, which takes place from June 10 to 16.

There was a Hocoia medical bus with a medical team and all the necessary equipment, to give patients the opportunity to examine and control various spots, wounds, plaques and itchy skin that need regular examination. Besides the medical bus, stands from the Cancer League and Dr Scandola's Regional Coordination Center for Cancer Screening were on site to provide information and raise awareness on the importance of undergoing various cancer screenings.

During these meetings, patients were able to cool off with a juice bike and enjoy a good waffle. In the morning, we noticed the presence of Thierry Pons, Mayor of Nugent, and Marie-Christine Simonet, Second Deputy.
