Paris Saint-Germain can say thank you to its Portuguese players.
This Sunday, as has always been the case for several years, Paris Saint-Germain beat Olympique Marseille. Despite reducing the score to 10 goals for more than 50 minutes, the Parisians found the mistake in the second half and won by two goals to zero, during the twenty-seventh day of the French League.
Paris owes this victory partly to the evening's two goals, Vitinha and Gonzalo Ramos, and also to Danilo Pereira, author of a very good defensive game. As for the goals, the 24-year-old Parisian midfielder, who is in very good form this season, opened the scoring after a very good serve from Ousmane Dembélé (53').
Luis Enrique's men redoubled their defensive efforts, taking advantage of Marseille's offensive mistakes. Finally, Goncalo Ramos came on after the hour mark in place of Kylian Mbappe – much to his surprise – to score the break-time goal after a counterattack (85).
Note the absence of Nuno Mendes from the match list. His coach could have kept him on the left side.
