The Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts, Social and Solidarity Economy is pleased with the great success of Morocco in the 23rd edition of the International Crafts Fair (FIA) in Lisbon.
The Moroccan participation in this event confirmed the interest in Moroccan craftsmanship and the enthusiasm it generates among international clients in general and Portuguese in particular. “In fact, the Moroccan pavilion was inaugurated by His Majesty’s Ambassador in Lisbon, Othman Bahnini, and General Director of the House of Craftsmen, Tariq Sadek, in the presence of the Portuguese Minister of State in charge of Employment, and the ministry said in a recent press release, “Miguel Fontes, it was a great success.”

Knowing the ancestors of Moroccan artisans.” Covering an area of 270 square metres, the Morocco pavilion includes 17 craftsmen from 11 cities representing several sectors (copper, carpet, textile, pottery, wood and jewellery), illustrating different worlds including tableware, decor, furnishings, lifestyle and accessories.
