Anna Candias was born in 1982 in Chamosca, a small typical Portuguese village located in the province of Santarem and the region of Ribatijo. When she was a sports student, her life plans were turned upside down by a motorcycle accident. With her courage and creativity, she was able to follow a new path with this desire to paint and paint firmly embedded in her body. His mother, who ran a decor store, gave him the opportunity to display his first works. After her death, she took over the family business with her brother, but the economic crisis in Portugal forced her to close the two shops and go into exile to find work. Determined, she established herself in technical drawing and construction. A sculptor, she also specializes in abstract and semi-figurative painting, interior murals, and creates custom paintings and ornaments.

She settled with her companion in Meschers-sur-Gironde where she opened her studio gallery which she has completely customized. Portugal is around every corner, offering visitors a gallery of original paintings and articles, as well as a range of quality products from its home country. Always fanciful, Pita now offers “Portuguese” takeaways, of course, to take away, and also during the summer it organizes joyful and gourmet evenings around tapas, animated by singers and magicians in its enchanting garden.
“I’ve always had an attraction to art,” Peta says.
