The celebration of Europe was worthy

Gargo. Europe lives through jargo. Europe and the cultures of the world were honored on Saturday in Halle de Jargo, which for the occasion includes the stands of the different countries represented in the city.

The Jargo-Corsham and Jargo-Reilingen twins showed the complicity of their exchange, and the Turkish and Portuguese associations, each with more than a hundred members, offered their peculiarities.

In each stand it was possible to taste specialties. Turkish cooks made grape leaves, stuffed peppers, dumplings or bricks, and a number of pastries. The Portuguese invited people to taste local wines and wines; On the Reilingen side, we remained faithful to beer and sausages, while English sandwiches were less successful, and visitors preferred tea!

The children of the Municipal Youth Council made pancakes for Ukraine, and the Agir pour le Mali association sold handicrafts to support education, especially for girls, and an orphanage.

Finally, the atmosphere was provided by the Musical Society’s current music, the Ronda Minhota folk dances, and the J’danse Society’s bachata lessons. Loyalty reflects the understanding of friendly peoples and their ability to unite.
