The Elden Ring GOTY 2022 is receiving a new update that is highly anticipated by gamers today.
Ray tracing is available at Elden Ring
Bandai Namco just revealed the content of Update 1.09 for the game. While many fixes are available as well as balance tweaks, this new update mainly brings ray tracing support on consoles and PC.
Xbox Series X, PS5, and PC gamers can now take advantage of ray tracing; The feature must be activated in the game settings. Please note, however, that the studio is specifying that activating ray tracing will have an impact on in-game performance, particularly frame rate.
In a demanding game like the Elden Ring, this could have a detrimental effect on gameplay:

No ray tracing on Xbox Series S?

Full patch notes Available on the Bandai Namco website, ray tracing is not available on the Xbox Series S. So it’s possible that Microsoft’s mini console is once again shunned by developers and doesn’t take advantage of the Elden Ring’s ray tracing options.
