Saint-Priest. New developments at CCAS in St. Perst. The Municipal Social Action Committee (CCAS) offered its residents an afternoon of free “diabetes, vision and hearing screening” last Tuesday.
Bringing together on this occasion several specialists from Mobile Optometrists, Espace Diabetes 28 and Vivason Chartres, this mobile consultation organized in the Arsenal hall made it possible to examine about fifteen people and obtain the necessary information to prevent their health.
Prevent complications
This local initiative also aims to allow people with limited mobility to easily access screening. The first successful operation for Patricia Lantinois, Vice President of CCAS, who states that “early detection can help prevent future complications, and take the necessary measures to maintain good health.”

driving license. CCAS launch for the first Dr time, a scheme to help fund driver's licenses for four young people from the town between the ages of 15 and 19. They will be given 350 euros for 35 hours of work in the municipality, spread over five consecutive days. This work will take place from April 22 to 26 and from October 21 to 25 (two young people in each session). Candidates must send a cover letter to the President of CCAS, Robert Baldo, after which they will be invited for a short interview at the Town Hall.
