The Portuguese super sports car is ready for presentation

The Adamastor Furia, the new Portuguese supercar resulting from an investment of 17 million euros, will be presented on Tuesday in Matosinhos.

The two-seater sports model, based on the P003 RL prototype introduced in 2019, was developed in Paravita, Porto, and is entirely carbon, with mid-engine and rear-wheel drive. It will be offered in two versions, one for the track and one for the road, and limited to 60 units.

The Portuguese supercar was designed with a strong focus on aerodynamics, with the design department given complete freedom to develop the car's structure to improve efficiency and sporty driving performance. Next, the engineering team focused on defining spaces for key components, working with other departments such as dynamics, powertrain, interior and bodies, thus optimizing space and performance. The carbon fiber aerodynamic surfaces, Venturi underbody and overall design were optimized through CFD simulations, including 125 different structures, to maximize downforce and reduce the need for additional components such as fins.

Adamastor has performed more than 30,000 laps to fine-tune the performance of its super sports car in detail, validating the chassis behavior and dynamics in the most demanding conditions of use. Lap time targets were also set in the simulator, records that were easily surpassed by the Adamastor hypercar.

The Portuguese brand has not yet revealed the details of the Furia, which will be unveiled tomorrow during the presentation of the Portuguese super sports car.
