The president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Luis Rubiales, and the president of the ONCE social group, Miguel Carballeda, signed an agreement on Monday to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in the events organized by the Spanish Football Federation, including the Spanish citizen. The agreement also includes other measures such as the creation of an annual ONCE commemorative voucher linked to the RFEF, policies aimed at achieving full access to Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas and training and promoting the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the workplace.
During the presentation of the agreement, President of the Russian Football Federation Luis Rubiales stressed that this signing “is the beginning” of cooperation between the two entities. “We are two institutions whose job it is to make people happy. Football is a passion, it is a matter of feelings. And the fact that the RFEF provides ONCE, and vice versa, with meeting points so that people in difficulty can have fun, means a lot,” he said.
