DuclesboisThe 22nd edition of the competition has come to an end, and the winners of this year's competition were announced over the weekend. Masha Chernaya's Splinters It won the City of Lisbon Award for Best Film in the international competition. The international competition jury consists of: Christa Fiat, Eric Rocha, Luciana Fina, Luis Miguel Oliveira and Richard PenaHe stated that this film “dives into a specific reality not only with the aim of documenting it, but also with the aim of finding meaning through the poetry that organizes its images.” The jury also awarded two ex-aequo films with the CUPRA International Competition Jury Prize: Fire supplies by Lucia Selesand Anchor by Jane Debusch. In the Portuguese competition, the Max Prize was awarded for the best Portuguese film Citizens Palace by Roy Perez.
