This Windows 11 mini PC is as compact as a credit card and more powerful than a Raspberry Pi

This is LattePanda Mu. A truly compact computer, which replaces a bank card, and is more efficient than a Raspberry Pi. It is even possible to connect a real graphics card to it. It is enough to run Windows 11 or Linux without any problem.

The Raspberry Pi is a very interesting machine for all DIY enthusiasts (Do it yourself). But its drawback is that it is not very strong. This is where LattePanda Mu comes in, a new platform that allows you to create a very compact PC, without compromising too much on performance.

Much more efficient than Raspberry Pi

This small motherboard is very compact, with dimensions close to a bank card (60 x 69.6 mm). It includes an Intel N100 processor, equipped with 4 cores with a frequency of 3.4 GHz. Combined with 8GB of RAM (LPDDR5 4800MHz) and 64GB of storage (eMMC 5.1), the company claims much higher performance than the Raspberry Pi 5. On Geekbench 6, the Intel processor is almost twice as fast, both in single and multi-core Nucleus.

But it doesn't stop there: the LattePandu Mu has a 9-line PCIe 3.0 port, which allows you to connect a graphics card. The TDP of the processor can be adjusted from 6 to 35 W depending on the type of cooling (passive or active). We find the possibility of integrating three HDMI / DisplayPort outputs, two SATA 3.0 ports, four USB 3.2 ports and many other possibilities that should please DIY enthusiasts.

LattePandu Mu is available on Official Website From $139. Be careful, unlike the Raspberry Pi, the LattuPanda Mu must be connected to a mainboard in order to work. That's the case with the Lite Carrier Board ($39), which adds a little bulk, but provides access to all the necessary ports. However, it is possible to do without it, but in this case, you will have to develop the PCB yourself. An option intended for businesses that plan to use it in terminals or servers.

On YouTube, we can watch a test video, and the result is frankly impressive: the PC runs Windows 11, and allows gamers to launch their favorite games, depending on the power of the additional GPU.
