TrimUI launches a new game console, just a few years after its introduction smart. Although Smart Pro seems like a more powerful alternative to Smart, there are quite a few similarities between the two. In fact, TrimUI Smart Pro looks more like the PlayStation Vita, with a rounded design and comparable button layout.
It looks like TrimUI has picked a version of the Allwinner A133 for SmartPro called Allwinner A133plus. With a bit of documentation on the “plus” variant, it appears to be just an overclocked version of the standard Allwinner A133 with higher CPU clock speeds of 200MHz. However, the arrangement of the four ARM Cortex-A53 cores remains unchanged, as does the PowerVR GE8300 GPU clocked at 660MHz.
Other details are still unknown at this point, including pricing and availability. However, the gaming laptop will pack a 4,000mAh battery in its 188 x 80 x 17mm body and 4.96-inch IPS screen. The small screen is supposed to run natively at a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, resulting in a pixel-per-inch rate of 294. TrimUI Smart Pro is also expected to come in three colors, and the website Portable Retro A late July release is proposed.
