During a state dinner organized to raise money for his election campaign, Donald Trump made a questionable joke related to the firefighter who died in Pennsylvania during an assassination attempt on the Republican candidate, in Butler, Pennsylvania.

During this fundraiser, guests were asked to donate between $25,000 to $500,000 per couple.
During his speech, the Republican candidate recounted how members of his golf club wanted to donate money to the family of Corey Comperatore, the firefighter who was killed during the attempted murder of Trump in Pennsylvania a month ago.
“They gave me a check for a million dollars. That's a lot of money. Maybe what's even more impressive is that we launched a crowdfunding campaign on GoFundMe and raised over $6 million for the dead and wounded, which is three people,” Donald Trump said.
The former president then made a joke when he talked about his meeting with the widow of a firefighter who was killed in Pennsylvania.
“I gave her the check and she said, 'That's really nice and I appreciate that, but I'd rather have my husband with me.'” “I know a lot of women here tonight wouldn't have said the same thing,” he said, laughing.
The guests then burst out laughing, and Donald Trump added: “There are 4 couples I know who were actually excited.”
During the same speech, the Republican nominee also claimed that the upcoming election could be “the last” if Kamala Harris is elected on November 5.
