Third official adaptation of the Isle of Man Tourist Cup
Released May 2023 on PC, PS4 console, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch
Announced last November by video game publisher Nacon, TT Isle Of Man – Ride on the Edge 3 continues to reveal itself with its release scheduled for next spring with a new trailer that gives us a first look at the gameplay.
The third official adaptation of the legendary Tourist Trophy event following the episodes released in 2018 and 2020, TT Ride on the Edge 3 takes on the same concept by featuring the competition on a 1:1 scale replica of the 60km Snaefell Mt course in the Isle of Man At the wheel of about 40 Superbike and Supersport motorcycles.
The title has been updated by allowing the player to freely survey 200 kilometers of island-style roads, but also to find ancient roads to event and compete in a total of 32 circuits.
With Raceward Studio now in charge of the development, the game promises revamped gameplay, particularly to offer more accurate braking and improved cornering physics. The title will offer technical improvements to the machines, 11 types of activities in the “Open Roads” mode, multiplayer modes with weekly and monthly challenges, but also cross-generational compatibility on consoles.
While waiting for the title to hit consoles and PC next May, the developer is giving us a second trailer for the video game, the first showing the actual gameplay. So we take our spot on the camera from the Bray Hill descent to cover the entire first section of the trail.
