Two brothers, aged 12 and 13, are tragically orphaned after their mother and father are found dead at home within months of each other.
Brothers Robbie, 12, and Logan Clinton, 13, lost their mother, Shelly, 51, on March 24.
And the Daily Mail reported that the children, who live in the UK, returned home with their father, Mike, to find that she had died.
This sudden and unexpected death left the boys devastated.
But on July 27, tragedy strikes again when Robbie and Logan come home from sleep and notice that their father hasn’t gotten out of bed yet.
After entering his bedroom, the boys found their father unresponsive in his bed.
It is their 19-year-old cousin Caitlin, who has since devoted herself to taking care of the boys.
Mike’s older sister said she is very proud of Kaitlyn.
“We are very proud of her. One of the first things she said was that she was going to take care of these boys. I did the same thing with Mike after Shelly died and always made sure he was okay,” she told the Daily Mail.
Mike and Shelly’s family are still waiting for the cause of death to be determined.
