Swedish striker Victor Gjukeres, who currently plays for Sporting de Portugal, is attracting the attention of scouts from Sevilla and Borussia Dortmund thanks to his impressive performances at the start of the season. The 25-year-old has scored eight goals and provided two assists in his first nine appearances for the Lisbon club.
Gyukiris’ performance was noticed by scouts at these two famous clubs, demonstrating his rapid rise as a key player at Sporting. However, the Portuguese club have already indicated that they are not considering a January move as they view him as a vital part of their squad in the Portuguese League title race. However, if an interesting offer appears, the situation may change.
Victor Gyukiris has come a long way to get here, passing through the likes of Brighton, Sankt Pauli, Swansea City and Coventry City before joining Sporting. His convincing performances at Coventry City last season, where he scored 22 goals and provided 12 assists in 50 appearances, played a key role in his move to Sporting de Portugal for €20 million.
