Voltalia: The new Garrido complex in Portugal is fully operational

PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones) – Renewable energy producer Voltalia on Monday announced the full commissioning of its new Portuguese complex, Garrido, which consists of five solar power plants with a total capacity of 50.6 megawatts.

The company said in a press release that the construction works for this complex began in September 2022 and its gradual operation began in March 2023.

The full capacity of the complex is secured through a long-term ‘Corporate Power Purchase Agreement’, ie the direct sales contracts entered into between Voltalia and its customers.
