Paris, who lost 2-0 in Germany, left the Champions League in the round of 16 on Wednesday. Danilo regretted the missed chances… and the lack of aggression in his side.
Another disappointment for Paris. The capital club was eliminated in the Champions League knockout stages after losing 2-0 to Bayern on Wednesday in the return match on German soil. Christophe Galtier’s men, already down 1-0 at the Parc des Princes, conceded goals from Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Serge Gnabry. It is therefore the second season in a row that the Parisians have left at this stage of the competition.

‘we made mistakes’
“Unfortunately, we have to say that Bayern are stronger than us,” admitted Danilo Pereira, obviously, at the end of the meeting on the Canal + microphone. We had chances in the first period, we didn’t put them in. That’s how it is in the Champions League, it gets difficult. We made mistakes. “It’s difficult to go out this way, but it’s the Champions League. We haven’t won many duels. I don’t have words… To progress we all have to be together, we have to do things together and not individually.”
The Portuguese, one of the best Parisians in Munich, insisted: “We must continue like this, because Paris is a great team. We must be proud of ourselves. We have great players here, who must work together to grow.”
