When art and science meet at Bioviv’art Festival

From Friday 28 July to Sunday 30 July, after the success of the first edition, the festival returns this year and focuses on global warming and water. In the programme, presentations, presentations, conferences and workshops, to better understand the challenges of tomorrow.

Water has been a major issue at the heart of discussions lately, particularly in P.-O. with a drought in the summer. For three days, the festival will present “A series of original animations at the crossroads between two worlds, the world of art and the world of science. The aim is to present current topics to the general public, in order to develop environmental awareness, to raise public awareness of the importance of preserving biodiversity, and to act, i.e. to be a doer on a daily basis”explains Mikael Bensoussan, director and founder of the festival.

Friday, July 28: 3 p.m. Parc Ecover Show on stilts. 4.30 pm, Teresa Ripoll’s room, Alodi Magnano lectures on the topic of forests and water. 5:30 p.m., Teresa Ripoll Auditorium, Lecture by Jill Buff on Water’s Place in Living Organisms. In the Taulera Garden at 7 p.m., do a dance and science walk with Marc Déconchat. At 9 p.m., Marcel Ohm’s Room, Play The world of silence is screaming!!! followed by a discussion with Jill Buff. At 10:30 p.m. in Parc Ecoiffier, show on stilts.

Saturday 29 July: 10:30 a.m., Teresa-Rebull Room, mural workshop on biodiversity. 4 p.m., Teresa Ripoll Room, Lecture by Pascal Romans on the topic of marine biodiversity. 5:15 p.m., Marcel Ohm’s Room, Lecture by Jean-Baptiste de Banavieux on To be born an animal to be a human being. 7:15 p.m. Theater lecture by Frédéric Ferrer, followed by discussion with Pascal Romans. 9:15 p.m., in Parc Ecoiffier, dance show Live on the threshold. 10:15 p.m. Sal Teresa Ripoll, Marin Chesnais screening, live at the threshold.

Sunday 30 July: 10:30 a.m. Teresa-Rebull Room, Water Mural Workshop. At 3 p.m., Salle Teresa-Rebull re-released the film I dwell on the threshold, Followed at 3:30 pm, Antonio Machado’s room, reading of the play scripts for the Bioviv’art Prize for Young Writers. 4 p.m., in the Parc Ecoiffier, the performance of the painter Sandrout, fragile animals.
