A year after publishing its employer brand, Trois-Rivières launches its first podcast, Work for your world. In return, four employees take the audience behind the scenes of municipal administration by narrating their journey.
Episodes range from 10 to 15 minutes in length and are available on the next page and on platforms Apple Podcast And Spotify.
Four episodes to discover basic professions
The first episode deals with the sensitive issue of peridotite in Trois-Rivières and the management of three major projects in the city under the supervision of Karl, the director. Marie-Eve, a police officer, takes us to the heart of the interventions that have defined her in recent years.
Next, Episode 3 allows Roxanne, an inventory management expert, to tackle the purchasing challenges of managing an inventory of over 15,000 items. The final track features Evan, a dedicated worker who started working for the city in the 1980s as a blue-collar worker and hangs up his work boots in 2023 as the head of continuous improvement.

Your employer brand is well established
The city's employer brand was rolled out in 2023 and has generated a series of initiatives aimed at promoting municipal employees and positioning Trois-Rivières as an employer of choice.
In total, 6 subcommittees were created and 46 actions were implemented. The years of service of 337 employees were particularly highlighted and several recognition events were organised. An awareness campaign was also launched for municipal employees.
